2 Ton Diesel Fired Boiler Fuel Consumption

WNS series 2 ton diesel fired boiler sold by ZOZEN adopts full corrugated hearth structure, which not only strengthens the flue gas disturbance but also increases the radiation heat transfer area; increases the stiffness of the hearth, but also effectively weakens the expansion stress of the hearth; enhances the heat transfer effect but also promotes the combustion of fuel in the hearth.

Diesel fired boilers are industrial oil boilers that use diesel as fuel, and can also use heavy oil, waste oil and other fuels as fuel for oil boilers. Oil consumption of oil boilers is an aspect that companies are more concerned about in boiler operation. ZOZEN Boiler takes 2 tons diesel fired boiler as an example to answer the hourly fuel consumption of diesel fired boiler and the factors affecting the fuel consumption.

The formula for calculating hourly fuel consumption is 3600 × thermal power ÷ heat generation ÷ boiler efficiency. Assuming the thermal power of a 2 ton diesel fired boiler is 1.4MW, and assuming the calorific value of fuel combustion is 42Mj/kg and the boiler fuel efficiency is 98%, it can be deduced how much fuel is consumed per hour for one fuel. 2 ton diesel fired boiler = 3600*1.4/42/0.98, which is about 122kg.

In order to make the boiler operate optimally, the factors that affect the fuel consumption of an oil fired boiler include the thermal efficiency of the boiler and the calorific value of the fuel.

There are many factors that affect the thermal efficiency of industrial boilers, such as the exhaust temperature, the calorific value of the fuel used, the design of the boiler, and the level of operation of the furnace operator, all of which may affect the thermal efficiency of the boiler. In addition to these hard indicators, the efficiency of boilers produced by different manufacturers also varies. The efficiency of oil-fired steam boilers produced by ordinary boiler manufacturers may not reach 90%, while the thermal efficiency of oil-fired steam boilers from ZOZEN Boiler can reach more than 98% with complete packages.

Different types of fuel oil, so the calorific value is also different, for example: heavy oil low calorific value = 44,833kj/kg, diesel low calorific value 10,200kcal/kg, gasoline low calorific value = 43,062kj/kg, methanol low calorific value 4,650kcal/kg. The higher the calorific value, the lower the fuel consumption.
